Hello all! Long time stalker, first time poster. I have an ‘18 SR5

I am about to swap out my aftermarket Radio (Pioneer AVIC-5201NEX) for an OEM head unit from a 2020 Tacoma TRD (Pioneer AVH-5798ZT). Is there anything I need to be on the lookout for? My aftermarket radio has a Bluetooth microphone and back up camera view. I like the look of stock over aftermarket that’s why I’m switching the head units out.
    Thanks in advance.

Hello I am replacing my 86140-04230 with same model number radio in my 2021 I was just wondering if it is a straight swap or will the truck reject it like an organ transplant? Hopefully someone can answer or point me in the right direction?

You’re replacing the original radio with another one of the exact same kind?

I am just wondering if it will require any additional programming or will it be like it came with the truck?

If it’s the exact same one it should be plug and play. The harness is the same and it should be completely functional.

    Plug and play.
Out with the old, and any associated adapters, and in with the new.

Yeah the prices for new are insane. There’s no way it costs anywhere near that much. Glad you got one on a good deal!
