Ok, I bought my 2001 tacoma back in march i think, and the keys the dealership gave me had an aftermarket key fob on it that I assumed was for the alarm and keyless entry. Well, come to find out, it had an aftermarket alarm system on it and the dealership doesn't sell vehicles like that, so they took it out. now i have no keyless entry. My question is does the truck still have the original keyless entry in it, and all I have to do is get a stock key fob? I am sure that that would be to easy and I will have to buy an aftermarket keyless entry system, but I was wondering if htere was an easy way to tell if the truck still has the oem keyless entry on it? Thanks guys.

Call a toyota dealership and give them your vin #. They should be able to tell you if it came with keyless entry or not. You would be surprised that most didn't come with keyless entry.

If you want to you can look for the parts to convert, but good luck with that. Easiest thing to do is just go with an aftermarket unit.
