question about my amp

    so I have 2017 tacamo and the factory amp went out (86280-04060)
    my question is do i have to use the same exact model 86280-04060 or can i use another one (86280-04071 or 86280-04020) thanks!

    Must use the same part.

    go in the 3rd gen marketplace and you’ll find several for sale. You can gut the jbl system and go all aftermarket for the price they want for the jbl amp

    What is the cost for the factory amp?

    Might make more sense / cost effective to just have a stereo shop go through it, can still use the same radio if thats what you want to do..

    f'that....
    If you have a reputable stereo shop they can bypass all that garbage bs with a PAC ap4 amp interface & still keep your factory radio if you chose to go that route for cheaper....
    You will need to get a real amp of some sort but they can also be had for super cheap & blow the doors off the stock set-up.
    Talk to a local stereo shop that has a clue in your area...

    or at least thats what I would do if I was in the OP's shoes...
