Hey guys, i just ordered and installed these

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NERF...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Question is, my co-worker said i need to screw them down with an impact wrench. All i did was hand tighten the mounts and the bars themselves with a socket wrench. Do i have anything to worry about?

also notice the new window vents. what do ya'll think? I have before and after posted.[IMG]

Should be just fine. Go back and re-tighten in about a month just to be sure.

I just ordered these for my black double cab last night off eBay $269 shipped. I've installed 4 sets of Nerf bars over the years and never had a problem with hand tightening and them coming loose.

If they bolt to the factory locations ( threaded holes under the cab with plastic plugs in them ), I wouldn't over-tighten them.
I have the Toyota steps and they only recommend tightening to 14 lb/ft.
It doesn't sound like much, but it's a good "hand tight".
I haven't had any loosening issues...6 months now. If I do, Locktite will be on the list.
