97 tacoma 4x4 base

Is there a safe way to make el111r fit the 97 Tacoma ??i have cs018r on it now but they are shot to hell..but a buddy has the el111r's that are brad new an offered them to me dirt cheap but I think they are too long? I know probably a dumb question but... I'm new and dont know what to do.. lmfao
