    Hi Tacoma world viewers
Do you know if anyone makes a portable off-road designed air compressor that just plugs into a normal 120 household style outlet? Just think it would be so nice to mount in the bed and just use the outlet in my bed to power it...

The outlet in your bed won’t run most of any compressor. You’ll have to do a serious inverter upgrade!

Or better yet bring along a generator. lol

Just recently i thought the power outlet can power my rice cooker when i went camping. That outlet did a nope to that idea. Was about to go mad until i started to think straight and figured i can just cook it in a pot on my burner.

Eating korean bbq without rice is a sin.

A neighbor of mine ran a small Harbor Freight "Hotdog" style of compressor off his factory bed plug. It was maybe 3.0 amps for the little compressor - and must be just barely below the 400 watt limit of the Toyota inverter system. This was a portable and the truck parked in the driveway. I believe the compressor motor is about 1/3 HP - ain't much for CFM!

When the vehicle is moving - output of the outlet is factory limited to 100 watts and that definitely won't work.
