I recently purchased and installed a Fat Bobs spacer lift and AAL. The spacer is the round aluminum type 1&1/2 inches thick. I installed the spacer with new Bilstein performance struts (4600's). After installation the truck now sits 4 inches higher.
Has anyone else had this much lift? Struts were the same length as the OE struts I have been a Mechanic my whole life and have installed tons of struts. These went right in with no prying. Simple install. Problem is AAL doesn't come close to leveling the rear with the front.
Do the Coilovers do the same? You turn them down 2 inches and get roughly 3.5 to 4 inches of lift? Looking at going with Coilovers for the ajustability. Truck is a 08 Access 5 lug. Iam not a off roader just wanted clearence for larger tires.
    Thanks for any replies.

Good thought, but no it is installed correctly. I have looked at everything I even removed one and double checked spring install on the strut. And I double checked the part #'s for the struts. There correct.
I guess I will remove the spacers and see how high it sits?
Iam not a student of Geometry, but maybe pushing the lower control arm down a inch and a half equates to 4 inches at the end of the lower control arm??
