    So, I just got this:

    Capture.jpg

It's a 90 mile (lol @ the ATF's map reading w/ 54 miles ) drive into town and I can't make it for a couple more days, but never heard of this before. This is my first suppressor. I did create an account at Silencer Shop, but to access the eform 4 I needed a Microsoft program I don't have. I'm guessing all this can be done at the kiosk in the shop I purchased from? I'll call them tomorrow when they open, but I'd hate to delay my can in prison any longer than I have to. Any info appreciated.

Well, in case any of you are wondering, the new system requires a fed boi (atf) login, password, and pin. You also have your suppressor shop login and password. Unfortunately, most places require you to come in and fill out the form 4 in person on the kiosk. This is all pretty new I guess.

Individual registration FFL in person visit needed to certify
Trust registration certifying can be done by phone. Silencer shop system issues prevailed and I couldn't get the push notifications to my phone to sign in so I ended up having to visit FFL anyway but it's a 5 min drive for me

I also ordered my first suppressor last week from the SilencerShop. I’m also eFiling my form 4.

I spoke to SilencerShop CS the other day because I wasn’t sure how to link my ATF Eform account to my silencer shop one bit they said this happens automatically when they submit the form 4 based on your name and info so it’s very important that your SS and ATF account info match exactly.

Otherwise I was able to do everything at the kiosk (fingerprints and answer questions). I didn’t have to do anything with the form 4 or a Microsoft program. That’s half of why I went with SilencerShop is the fact that they take care of the form 4 leg work for you.

Unless is your form to esign the form 4? I haven’t gotten to that point and am waiting for them to finish my paperwork.

To follow up I just Esigned my form 4 and single shot trust. Silencer Shop filled out all the paperwork and sent me a link to electronically sign it. Only a web browser was required (could have easily done it on my phone if I wanted) and I didn't need any special Microsoft software. Insanely easy process with silencer shop.

Definitley easier to do it online then. Since I bought locally I had to go back locally and use their laptop to finalize, so it was a two part deal. Now I am just waiting impatiently :pout:

But, the guys at the shop did say hopefully by the end of this year it will be down to a 3 month period overall. So I look forward to doing it all online myself next time. Already just contemplating buying another one, smaller form, for a short .300 upper with a rail that goes over everything.

With some of the top quality kits out there. I'd just do an eForm 1 and make one when the stamp arrives.

My last one was a 9mm. Took 17 days to get my stamp emailed to me.

    I guess it's a good thing I got mine when I did.

I know when I bought my "kit" from Quietbore, I just ordered it and they sent it. I heard a while back they required a copy of your form 1 before they'd ship.

I hope they don't dick around with SBR's. I have 4, but have another one I'd like to stamp.
