I just bought this new unit on eBay pictured below, is this plug and play with my current stereos wiring? Didn’t realize they weren’t including its wiring. I am also aware of the bezel thank you!

im 90% sure that they all take the same cables. will tell you that the vehicle may not have the XM antenna connector but the basic speaker and head unit connection are in there and they use the same plugs

Is swamping something the youngsters do these days to get high?

Yes its a straight swap. Some features like XM or GPS may not work depending on if your old radio had them.

But it looks like they took the XM harness anyways, so that wont work without the 5 inch harness that connects the bottom box to the top box.

Oh so I’d would need to buy the harness or is it just plug and play? I don’t really care about the other features currently but I do have them on the way

Tough to tell in my photo but there are couple jumpers from the bottom module to the head unit. As long as the unit is non-JBL then the audio portion of the unit, minus the Sirius processor will be plug and play.

Your trucks harness is plug and play, but there are a few jumper wires that go from the bottom box to the top box. This is just for the XM radio and are not needed to make the rest of the radio work

Wiring is exactly the same. If you want to use the integrated Nav, you will have to add the antenna (goes under the dash, behind the head unit, plugs into the main unit). You can add Satellite radio, but you will need the extra part which also plugs into the back of the unit. I replaced my 2018 SR base Radio with the Premium Entune with Nav. I have had to but the bigger bezel in, because the Premium has a bigger screen than the base. I spent $1700 for the new unit and Bezel and it works great.
