Question about the Tacoma I bought...

It wasn't on the truck when I arrived at the dealership. As mentioned above, I bought it over the phone after seeing it on their website.

They had it ready to go when I arrived.

I was simply expecting to be picking up a Sport today and was surprised to discover the moonroof and then the other things (which I thought were upgrades) at the price I paid.

Your best bet is to look at the window sticker and you know exactly what you have and what the MSRP is. Then you compare to the price paid to see what kind of discount you got.

Just went to Toyota.ca website and the sport with tech/premium package manual transmission MSRP is 38,300.

 

I've never seen someone spend that much money and not know what they bought. I was just wondering if age was a factor.

judging by your cavalier attitude on purchase, the dealer may have played you well.

 

I was expecting it to be a Sport at the price I paid. That was all I wanted. Since it appears to have options on it that were higher than the Sport I thought I'd inquire here.

Apparently that was a mistake.

 

Trust me on this, dealers know what they have, and know what they paid and what they can sell it for. There's no mistake about it.

Did they put it in the glove box? You can always call them and they can reprint one for you. You should get it just for your records.

I expected the Sport at that price and got the Sport Upgrade. I'm happy.
