Question about trans fluid

I was changing my oil and wasn’t paying attention loosened the trans drain it poured out for like 20 seconds then realized what I had done. should I empty it all and refill it or do you think I’ll be fine.

 

2009? I'd do a service. I wouldn't drive it, 20 seconds is likely half the pan.

That said, you need a pump tool to get the fluid into the trans, then you need to check the fluid at a specific temp.

If you're really worried find a way to get 1 qt in, then take it to a shop for fluid service.

Don't worry, this happens more often than you'd think, chalk it up to experience.

 

Thanks. Yeah it’s my fault but I’ll just get it serviced. Do you know what it should cost when I take it in ?
