I've been looking at an used '09 Tacoma and a used '10 Tacoma. The '09 is 2wd (non TRD edition) and has a "PreRunner" badge on the tailgate. The '10 is a TRD Sport 4x4 and doesn't have a "PreRunner" badge on the tailgate.

What's the difference between one being and one not being a PreRunner ?

Prerunner is a 2wd with a 4x4 look. IE: sits higher than reg 2wd. bigger tires etc.....

I have the TRD Sport PreRunner. Since I don't drive off road I could change out the stock shocks and get a smoother ride?
