I am planning to buy new wheels for my Tacoma 2011. Do I need to take the truck to the dealer to make any changes or adjustments to the inner computer if I plan to switch from a 17" wheel to a 20" wheel?

The requisite BRO adjustments are necessary.

No. Wheel size doesn't matter; tire size does. Even then, it's a marginal impact most of the time. Your mph might be slightly off.
