Question: Does the 2012 side mirror interchange with 2009

09 dc taco trd sport

So someone drove too close to my parked 2009 toyota tacoma sport truck last night and hit my driver side mirror. The housing is fine but the arm that swivels is broken and the mirror itself is broken.

Someone is selling me a 2012 off road side mirror and my question is would i be able to get the guts (motor, mirror, arm) and put it in my housing?

I know that the 2012 sport mirrors has the turn signal but the off road doesnt. just want to know if the off road mirrors are the same as my 2009.
