    I use seasonal as being ethanol'd gas, e10 where I'm at. I think it's the EPA that decides where certain gas types need to be used. CA MA and most major metropolitan areaas are required to run it. Outside of that I don't know, some areas still only require running e10 during the winter months. If your pumps say "May contain ethanol", you might have it, but not guaranteed.

    My mileage recently dropped with the temp changes and winter gas additives. I find that depending on the conditions 45-65mph covers the sweep spot for mpg.

    I'm finding I get about 20.4MPG on 3 hour trips between Seattle and Portland. My best mileage is, like somebody mentioned, at around 45MPH. My best highway mileage is 65MPG. I don't really notice much mileage difference between 60 and 65 to justify going slower, but there is anoticeable dropoff at 70MPH and a bigger one at about 77MPH.

    Damn that sucks. If I were to average 75 mph instead of 65 I'd save myself almost an hour and a half. Might just say screw it and eat the gas anyways.

    Lots.
    80-85mph :)anon:) from NY-->MD I got 18.2

    It seems there is a sweet spot right in there. Oh and invest in a Valentine 1 Radar Detector.

    Ha, yeah the radar detector would come in handy. But I try to keep it within 10 over. It's considered a minor infraction and therefore cheaper on the insurance. Buuuuuuuuut, I wonder if my buddy would let me borrow his for the weekend? Good tip.

    I haven't taken many trips in my truck but I've noticed with extended drives (1-2 hours at a clip), my truck gets better gas mileage cruising on the backroads at 45mph than it does going the same time (1-2hours) at 65mph.

    And most definately, mine always drops with the temp change/winter gas mixtures.

    I'm in an access cab, but if I drive 70-75 my MPG tends to be between 16 and 18. If I keep it to 55-60, I can manage 22-26.
