Thanks! They’ll work with my OEM tonneau cover and are way cheaper than the ones I was looking at for $899.

Nice but from the recommendations and research I’ve done I think I’m going to go with a 23 Zero 62.

best tent on the market, this model was kind of made to fit over the bed in a taco. Backflip makes covers with racks, there are others as well.

Sure have come along way in a short time from wanting an RV.....

Yup, Always been pretty flexible. Never understood people who set their minds to one thing at the exclusion of all others regardless of actual needs.

I haven’t seen the finished product in person, but I did see the prototype way back when at GFC. Talked about it with Graeme when I was passing through Montana a couple years ago. I had one of the first GFC’s.

It’s a great concept and he indicated it was designed for the Subaru/ Rav4 crowd, someone who could take it on and off when not in use.

it’s quite long, and would have to be across the entire top of a taco, a tent like the IKamper is much easier to fit just over the bed.

The GFC idea is a good one though, I’m looking forward to seeing the final product in person.

I have a superlite on order and decided to go that route because of the weight and the fact I can take it on and off when not in use.

That’s cool! I hope it delivers in a timely fashion. Given my past experiences with GFC it’ll be cool if it arrives by camping season. Can’t wait to see it when it arrives.

Bought the 23 Zero Walkabout 62. I’ll post more after I have a few trips with it under my belt.

I placed my order in October and thought i would have it dec/jan but im looking at april now. The lead time is a big factor when ordering anything from GFC.

yeah, they make cool shit but they really fail on the under promise OVER deliver, they get in backwards. My original GFC got pushed back all the way through camping season and what was supposed to be a very early spring delivery ended up being right at the end of Sept.

Defiantly looking forward to seeing more of this new tent though please post feedback when it finally arrives on here or at least link a new thread from here so I can scope it out. Thank you!!!
