Did you just use the original side panels and remove the windows and sew screen in? I am debating on buying an extra set for that main reason. I can use my Grandfathers upholstery sewing machine if there is enough extra fabric to remove the stitches to remove the window material.

There's no way that cross bar is going to fit unless you do indeed remove those plastic bins. Honestly it barely fits straight across laid in the rear floor so I'm guessing @Mobtown Offroad had to lay his rolled up windows with bar on an angle, unless I'm remembering dimensions wrong. All I know is I hacked off an inch from my bar to accommodate my KB Voodoo metal bed top rails and it just barely fits in the rear floorboard.

Yes, it did not lay flat, it was at a slight angle from the corner on the floor up a little. But I did have a reg cab, there seems to be a little more space than the DCSB.

I bought screen and made a fabric frame around it. I didn't cut up my windows because I wanted to reuse them when cold out.

that's why I'm thinking of going big baller style and buying a spare set. haha. Was your regular cab a long bed?

Yes. They only came in long bed. Worked well because I slept in it and could shut the gate. A little cramped with me and the wife and being 6'2" but it beat ground tents all the time.

that's what I thought about the regular cabs. So I'm guessing since my short bed Bestop should be shorter then the side windows will be shorter but the tailgate one would be the same length. May have to find a spot to store that bottom bar in or on the truck somewhere.

I just threw the cross bar in the bed when I pulled the windows out. Windows went in the cab.

Just found this video of a short bed with the Bestop and he had everything laying across the seats so I'm sure I can figure out something.

Did everyone's top have the 3rd brake light? I did not see that on Bestop Website. Is it LED?

Did you happen to get that measurement? I'm curious as well. I'm thinking about getting this thing:

$30 and it would keep them up against the bed and out of the way. I have an access cab so there is minimal storage space inside the cab. I'd like to see that measurment to confirm if they'd fit in this. Thanks in advanced!

I did not, and unfortunately sold it just after this so I do not have access. However there is no way they will fit width wise like that without folding them. They are just short of the full bed length.

I lay my windows flat in the bed. And put the bar on top of them. Never had them fly off but I've rolled up my windows and tossed them in the floorboard of the backseat and used a "Velcro zip tie" to keep them together. They're pretty durable and don't mind being folded up
