    People that have installed buchwackers;
    1)is every silver exterior bolt fake?
    2)does it use ANY of the stock snap clips/ or snap clip locations?

    From what I can gather in their black and white instruction guide, It looks like all mounting bolts are along the inside perimeter.(if this is the case, They will not mount on my truck because that part has been cut out)
    example:

    Thanks in advance!

    So... there's a few things to go over and i'll try to make this as simple as possible without making myself sound like an idiot lol

    A. the bushwacker flares are indeed "pocket" flares and the bolts are just for looks aka they bolt in a few locations to the inner fender area using a couple oem bolt/screw locations as well as a couple brackets they provide.

    B. I don't believe bushwacker is ever going to create a true cut away flare like they have in the past due to the design/style they currently have/demand for cutaway isn't high enough to produce mass quantities.

    C. like a member on here (can't remember his name unfortunately) and a lot of 2GEN guys have made the bushwacker pocket flares into actual cut away flares. I believe this is the route you would be taking... you will obviously trim the pocket flare according to the specs you require like the red dotted line area you showed above... then using your own hardware and spacers would trim and mount the cut up flares onto the fender with the bolt holes making them now true cutaway flares. DEFCONBRIX is the main person I know that has done this to a set of pocket flares and I believe he has some info on it in his build thread somewhere...

    hope this helps!

    I had mine on the truck for a couple months and then chopped off a quarter of each front flare for my CBI T3 bumper lol its scary at first but from experience always start with small cuts and work your way down to the final measurement lol

    Thank you for the clarification!
    I was 99% sure just wanted to make sure. According to the directions, ALL mounting screws go up from the inside. IF I cut them away...all these mounting points would be gone. Thus, would need to drill holes into the fenders and use real nuts/bolts and mount them up

    Chopping the front corner is scary, but I'm not concerned about that. I want to cut 2" around the whole thing, which I think will eliminate the mounting points.
