Do the higher trim levels (SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off Road) have front seats that can adjust upward to create more footroom for the back seat passengers?

We sat in a basic SR DCSB at a Toyota dealer this morning. I wanted to try on the backseat for size. The low front seat is the only thing keeping me from saying "yep, that's a truck I want to evaluate further." That was the only DC Tacoma they had on the lot.

I was surprised with the amount of leg room in the back of the DC Tundra. I just don't know if I want a big truck.

We also looked at the Silverado (double cab and crew cab) and the Colorado crew cab. The Silverado double cab is way too small. The Silverado crew cab is cavernous. The Colorado crew cab is adequate. The little details, like interior trim pieces not fitting right and the exposed pinch welds under the door keep me from giving the Colorado a thumbs up. I think it would fall apart within the first 3 years.

The seats are probably the same. I just picked up my trd sport, seats slide forward and back but there is not any height adjustment. I looked at the canyon as well, back seat room was a considerably better in the canyon compared to the Tacoma. Really just my dog that rides in back so it wasn't a big deal to me but worth looking at if you have kids or something.

Seats are the same. I installed 6 washers and new bolts to lift the back of the seat up for foot room and my safe under it plus it sat me up higher which I like.

I have an 11 year old and a 7 year old and they have plenty of room. My wife can ride back there comfortably, but a larger adult may be a little cramped.

I'd agree that there's enough room in the back, the canyon just has a little more.
I wish I could lower the driver's seat just slightly. It's comfortable and all, but in a perfect world I'd prefer it a little lower.
