    You are doing WHAT? :smack:

Since you are redneck and all, wrap your pencil in saran wrap. $2 should buy you about 300 feet and should last YOU a lifetime. No matter what, please DON'T procreate.

go w the nuva ring. i heard from a friend at work the IUD hurts like hell. My girl is on the ring for the past 4 years and its been great. i pay for half of it but dont worry about the falling out stories. you can take it out for up to 3 hours w no problems. Smetimes we've taken it out during sex and just put it back in afterwards. Really i've heard nothing but good things about the nuva ring. I would recommend this one its worth it even if you do pay half

I don't think I'll try the Tony Danza with my wife. I can't afford a divorce or a 3 week stay in ICU. Thanks for the info though.

Sorry bro it was too good to pass up! :D

    Now for the real response

My wife had the Norplant....the 5 little tubes under the skin in her arm. I think it lasted a year or 2 each time.....when we took it it out to have a baby.....it was like 1 month for it to wear off .......no side effects either

My ex girlfriend had an IUD.....they cut it wrong or something.....felt like a straight pin poking me in my 3rd eye.....she had to get it redone

the IUD hurts when being done but not afterwards correct. But then you have to go and have it removed if you want a child before the 3 to 5 years is up. I personally suggest going w the nuva ring but thats just my .02

Have her check out Depo-Provera, a shot every 3 months and her period goes away. I've been on it for about 8 years, so I haven't had a period since I was 19 :D fantastic! I have had no problems with it, but some people do, so you guys would have to read up on it and talk to the doc. I have to stay on a non-estrogen based form of bc due to unexplained high blood pressure.

Little story, when my bf and I started dating, after about the 5-6th week he got into the 'we need to have a talk' mode and said 'we have been together for over a month and I don't think you have had a period??' :rofl:I had to explain to him how the bc I'm on works and that I don't get periods, he was seriously concerned. Then of course we had to re-confirm that neither of us wants a child.

I'm glad you both are being safe and good for you to get involved with her care, nothing like having an unexpected baby.
