If you have made a bed/platform in your tacoma bed that has a full cab, do you close the tailgate and the back window when you sleep in it, and if so, how do you open either from the inside to get out?

On the inside of my ARE camper shell there is a handle on the back window that lets me operate the window from inside.
Mine has the single turn handle in the middle vs one on each side.
I think it would be a safety hazard not to have the inside handle. Maybe check with the shell manufacture to see if they have replacement inside handles available.

Good question I have a ARE camper shell that has a latch in the middle. I don’t remember seeing a handle to unlatch from the inside. That would really suck locking yourself in the bed of your own truck. Imagine having to call for help lol…
