    Howdy,

For those that have installed LED lights and load resistors in by their rear lights. Did you mount the resistor to metal or just leave it hanging?

If mounted, any pics of how to mount them?

    Thanks

Most find that the rears do not require load resistors to eliminate hyper flashing.

I get hyper flashing when my DRLs are on or headlights are on. With all lights off, I don't get any hyper flashing. I have an SR5 which had the DRL/blinker in the same bulb. I put in ACME switchbacks in the front and they work well.

Should I try to install the resistor up front first, instead of the rears?

    Yes. Try that.
On my last car I ordered some thermal double stick tape (like they use on PC heat syncs) and stuck the resistors to the chassis. Worked great and was super easy.

Thanks, I'll look for a source for the thermal tape, I did not know about that stuff.
