hey guys, I have been going the the fox related threads to find my answer but haven’t.

Currently I have. 3/2 leveling kit with a center axle to fender reading of about 23 1/8 inches. I will be installing my fox 2.5 coil overs and would like to get the preload close before I install.

Do any of you with these coil overs know about how many threads should be exposed to get a fender height of 23-23 1/2 inches

This is for a 3rd gen.

Lastly any of you found a successful way to adjust while on the truck?

Thank you all and happy New Years.

I have the Fox coilovers, it's like 8 threads per inch. I've adjusted them successfully on the truck. Take the set screw all the way out, spray it down with lube, make sure the truck is at full droop and use a 5/16 centerpunch with a cheater to turn the collar. It's much easier to do off the truck but it can be done.

What is the max exposed thread for the Fox 2.5s? Anyone know?

I'm not sure about Foxes, but I know that with Kings you don't want to loosen the set screw too much or it'll jump threads when you turn the collar...which would be bad news if that were to happen

I'm also curious on this. I have Fox 2.5" with 1.5" threads showing and it only raised the front 1.5". So is it an inch for an inch?
