I am thinking about purchasing a Leer 122 for my long bed Tacoma. The website gives a single figure for the height regardless of the model of pickup. It says that it is 28.5 inches above the bed rails. I am guessing that it really isn't that high on a smaller truck. I have 7 ft garage doors so height is an issue.

If anyone has the actual height could you please let me know?

Also, people have told me that you can opt for a single side window (long slider) rather than the square window in the rear which doesn't open. Has anyone selected this option and if so do you have a picture?

As always, Thank you very much!

Measure 28” up from bedsides. If the 122 I believe it’s about 4” above cab height if it’s cab height it will be cab height. Get vented windoors on both sides. You will regret it if you don’t. They should be about $260 per side.

The Leer 122 is higher than the cab, like I said the website says it is 28.4 inches above the bed rails, I don't think that is correct as it is what they say for all trucks (full and mid size).

So I'm about 6 ft tall. At the peak of the back, in the center it's about 8 inches taller than I am. I have a 2nd gen Tacoma, but I believe they are the same. I can get an exact measurement later today.

Looks like about 8 or 10 inches from cab roof to topper height.

Measure from floor to cab roof then add 8 or 10 inches... then you have the total height and see if it's fit in garage.

Edit: Looks like 6inch higher than cab roof....

I have 100xq so I can't give you exactly height.

It is under 7ft. Occasionally, 7 ft garage doors hang down below the frame, so I would measure from the frame to the bottom of the open door to the ground. That will give you an accurate measure ment to compare the total height of the truck with the shell. Obviously, and modifications to the truck will affect that measurement.
