I'm helping a friend out with a 96 deluxe tacoma with manual hubs, doing a wheel bearing repalacement. I'm taking the knuckle to a shop to have the bearing pressed out, but I noticed that the bolt that holds the manual hub body to the end of the CV axle doesn't seem quite right. The end of the CV protrudes about 1mm beyond the inner spline of the manual hub, so the bolt doesn't really seem to do anything. I'm wondering if I'm missing a spacer or something. Looking at the parts diagram, I might need 43501J, but I have no idea what it looks like.

Any help would be much appreciated.
