So I was looking at my rear OME shocks and noticed one was super loose. I put some lock tight on the nut and tightened it down.but it never really got any tighter. It just kept squshing the bushings. I didn't want to over tighten so I got them good for now. Just curious what I should have tightened them to.

Mine did the same thing. I basically just got them about the same. About an inch of thread showing. Seems to be working.

there is a toque spec for this but i don't know off hand. I do know that it is surprisingly very low.
