Living in Chicago I knew sooner or later the salt was going to catch up with my truck. Thankfully it's just the factory cat back system that has suffered and rotted away. The converters were replace a couple of years back under warranty so they are like new.

Here is my question. A local guy here has the factory cat back system off his 2013 ext cab 6 ft bed V6.

I'm wondering how close this would be to the exhaust on the 2003 ext cab 6 ft bed. I have the ability to cut and weld but I'd like to avoid that right now if possible.

How close are the two systems honestly?
