Hey guys so I did a minor rust repair today on the top of my truck. I sanded the area down, sprayed rustoleum rusty primer, put two coats of touch up paint and two coats of clear coat. After I did the top coats I noticed you could still see tiny bit of the primer over the paint.

now my question is would I be fine with future rust with the primer showing thru the paint? It’s barely showing also just specks. Thanks for your time.

    Sounds like just overspray, pictures?

Primer is porous so it will rust through if you don't have it on extra thick or fully covered with top coat.

But if the primer is already on top of paint it's fine.
