in a DC. I've seen all the posts that say to just remove the 3 bolts then pull up, but it's not going that easy for me. I'm starting with the driver's side of course. I'm pulling up, but it seems like the left side of the bin is still attached to something. I know there are supposed to be some tabs on the bottom, but I'm not sure if that's what's holding it or not. Can you see the tabs? I don't want to be too forceful with it b/c I'm putting it back in. My sub box is only going to take up the larger passenger portion. Any help is appreciated!!!

Just lift up and pull out at the same time...I just took mine out to make room for my sub box and at first it is a little difficult. There are a few tabs in the back that just come out by pulling. There is nothing to break if you just pull it with some force.

Although I have an 06, it was easy.
Just undid the bolts and gave a tug.

There are 4 of those little snap in tabs towards the middle area of it.
And on the perimeter there are plastic males that snap straight into stuff.
You might have to pry the edges with a soft-wrapped tool to get it started..

I'd say pull it as straight out as you can .. but maybe go around and loosen the perimeter snap-ins first.

Here are some pics of my 06 plastic bin.
These pics are from me re-installing it.. Not sure if they'll help, but just to give you more of a visual.. Tug that bastard straight out !

Looks like 4 push in tabs.. 2 white ones on the top.. 2 black ones on the bottom, I think..[IMG]

In addition to the push in pin things, the edges have plastic male parts that snap into stuff too. But they look like straight out pulls, not up.
On the driver side edge, I know there are clips that snap into the pillar, you'll see that once you get it off :)
