The OME shocks are a lower pressure, larger oil volume shock. The dissipate heat better than the Bilstien shocks, which have a higher pressure, lower iron volume.

The springs are also different spring rates and lengths (but I don't remember numbers so good).

The Ultimate kit is adjustable height in front, where the OME is not.

And I think that covers it at a very basic level. More will follow I'm sure.

Iron in the bilstiens is not an issue. :D

The Toytec kit uses a 600# spring rate, while the OME springs are rated at 590# (884 & 885), and a 650# (886).

Yeah......The OME 885's are about 15.5" long, and the one on the Toytec kit (Eibach) are about 16" long.

    Congrates on Today, Buddy! :)

Spring rate is a measure of spring stiffness....It a number that indicates the amount of weight needed to compress the spring a certain distance...

Higher spring rates tend to indicate rougher ride.
