I'm planning on putting my lift on this summer but my issue is my taco lean. Not only was it bad before my cap went on but the full tool box built into the drivers side of my cap makes the lean even worse. I'm afraid after i put my lift on it, will it show even more. My questions are, has anyone used a 1/2" block from wheelers off road or any other place to correct their lean? Can I put it on the bottom of ome dakars and still have enough pin room for the 3° shim? Should I put the block down, then shim, then dakar? Or shim first then block then dakar? Should I buy a longer than 4" pin? Will all pro flip ubolts be long enough?
This Damn taco lean is driving me nuts!!!!

I just tried to correct my rear lean with a 1/2" block on the driver's side and it literally made no difference. It was about 5/8" difference before and the same after. Maaaaayyyyybbbee 1/8" closer, but that's probably just hopeful reading of the tape measure. I have the recall 3+1 leaf pack which is flat to begin with, and when I looked at the driver's side leaf after the 1/2" block was in, it looked like the leaf pack had a slight negative arch compared to passenger side. I am thinking since I was blocking only one side of the rear suspension, it was trying to lift the rear left corner of the frame, but the flex (or lack there of) of the frame wouldn't allow much change in height and simply flexed that leaf pack more instead. Perhaps a 1/2" block would make more of a difference with Dakars since they are a stiffer pack with more arch. But for anyone trying to correct lean on OEM leaves, I would suggest not doing it. I may pick up some concrete or something heavy and load the passenger side of the bed for a few weeks and see if that does anything. I read another post in which someone claimed success doing that.
