    Rims- Absolutely
Rails- Depends. If you ONLY step on the plastic part, you should be fine. The dip could rip and start to peel off if you step on it too much. Also, the dip will come off if you offroad and hit a rock with them or something. I would paint or powdercoat them

Thanks. I am planning on Nfab down the road but first I am getting some retro lights.

dipped my cousins tundra side steps and did them pretty heavily just to be safe because its obviously gonna take a beating from stepping in and out and after a few weeks there were some tiny flakes where the edge of his shoe everyday just caught it and slowly peeled it.

By order: Tinted windows, WeatherTech liners added, NFab's, bar caddy center console, plasti-dipped emblems and rims.
I don't remember where I read it but it is not recommended for areas that are constantly being touched.

I dipped my rims and even put them through a car wash with no problem. I dont know about the steps though. I feel like stepping on them constantly will definitely start a tear and start peeling faster than a porn star peels a banana.
