i have a stupid question that i can't remember the answer to. my light burned out of my factory fog light switch. does the switch light up with the marker lights or headlights on, or does it only light up when the switch is activated?

Mine is lit whenever the marker lights are on, regardless of switch position.

Mine goes on and off randomly so I never really know what's wrong with it. I don't really need to see the switch so I don't worry about it.
