If you start counting at the right spot....it'll have an extra winding. :p:p:p:p

Really? I have done this on both model springs, and havent seen a diff. Is it a half wind maybe, or a full wind difference you've seen?

Hell, I don't know..... assuming if its 'longer', eventually it'll end up being an extra winding depending on where you start counting at the bottom. Just playin with ya...... They're only looking for differences between coils.

Unless of course, you wanna break out the tape measure - Have at it!! ;)

What if it has the same amount of winding, is the same length, same number of coils & it's just inconsistent metal density causing different spring rate? Lemon coil..........

Swap sides and see what you get.....

If one of them is lacking the proper spring rate (as you mention), then you'll want the other one (stronger one) to be on the leaning side...

No need, I has no lean.....but how would that make any difference other than which side the lean is on? The higher rate or longer coil will always be the high side unless the frame is poopoo or the perches are in different places.

The "handed" springs compensate for battery, fuel, placement.
If your stocker has no lean, then it was done correctly at Toyota.

I've seen it reported where 2nd gen stock Taco coils were marked (paint spot) either red or green.....(port/starboard)

The existence of the 2nd gen "trim packer" only makes sense to allow OME to stock one coil for the 2nd gen.
