I have endlessly searched for this so I apoligize for submitting a repost question, but I really need an answer to this.

What size tires fit on the stock TRD Sport wheels and can a 16" tire really fit on the 17" stock wheel? Is the stock wheel metric and not standard?

After using google, i came up with this:

" don't want to get new wheels but I want new tires. What size can I go with?

The max size for the TRD Sport wheels is 265/70-R17. 265/75-R16 will fit on the stock rims."

Am i reading this wrong or is this implying towards the TRD Sport wheel?

    Thanks for the help.

16" rims only fit 16" tire sizes. 17" rims only fit 17" tires sizes. Basically, a 32" tall tire will fit on the truck with no lift. If you have a 16" rim, the size will be a 265/75/16, and if you have 17" rims, the size is 265/70/17
