I just bought these wheels... Image should be below.

They are 16x8 wheels and I currently have stock Tacoma wheels wrapped in 265/70/R16 Tires.

I know the tire states it can fit a 16 inch wheel but is that any size 16” wheel? Will these 16x8’s stretch the tires or am I fine. I apologize if this sounds dumb, I don’t quit understand how the tires and wheel sizes work with each other

You should be fine. The stock wheels are narrower than that, but not by much. I think they're 7" wide.

But it's good that you check if they will fit *after* you buy them... :D

    4 run, 2 don't
I like my tires like I like my women; just skinny enough ;)

Wider wheels do look good on our trucks though...

I have the Toyota FJ wheels on mine which I believe are 7.5 wide and they fit fine. I would imagine you are good.
