Questionable fit, Nerf Bars

Hello all, I recently joined as I just purchased a 2022 Tacoma SR. I just ordered some Nerf Bars for my truck through Amazon. It says that it will not fit my truck. Can anyone tell me if Westin Pro Traxx Oval Nerf Bars, Black in color and 4 inch, will fit my Tacoma. I took it for granted that they would. I didn’t notice the note it didn’t fit my truck until it was too late. I’m hoping someone can put my mind at ease and say the 2022 and 2021 Tacoma have the same fit for running boards? I have a double cab v6 4x4 SR model, short bed.

I speculate that it will fit.

Watch the install video and then crawl under your truck to verify that it has the same holes.

It’s very confusing because I just called another running board company, and they said it only fits an access cab. I need to investigate more and thanks for the comments!

Accordinging to this, I’m guessing the ‘21 and ‘22 match, but I’ll do more investigating.

 

There's a different length between access cab and double cab. You want boards cut for double cab.

 

Yes sir, but this previous note says double cab at the bottom.

 

Make sure it has this model number. When I shop for stuff I like to find fitment on the manufacturers website, then comparison shop by that number.




Edit, and yes, it'll fit the 2021 if it fits the 20. Most of these guys forget to update the listing every year.

it shows double cab here. I’m still confused why the accessories sales person told me access cab only, thus the confusion. I’ll reorder these and hopefully all is good. Thanks for everyone’s input!

 

Check out the Westin website to confirm fit. I've ran into this lately where Amazon says something won't fit my truck but the manufacturer says it does.

Just a note about this previous post. I want to thank everyone for all the help with comments. Just for the record, even though there was conflicting information about these Westin nerf bars fitting on my 2022 Tacoma SR double cab, they arrived and I installed them as they fit perfectly! These were the Westin Pro Traxx 4 inch oval in black powder coat, item # 21-2275. Thanks Rock as you steered me in the right direction!
