    I've seen worse than that in gear oils myself... Unless you're able to pull a lot of metal out of the oil (which seems you weren't able to) it should be fine.
    The "paste" on the plug is also normal if the plug has a magnet (if there was an issue, there'd be a huge amount of gritty "fuzz" all over it).

    Run it.

    the particles look normal -- and the magnet is doing its job which is great. Here is my front diff plug -- I have another bolt waiting for when I replace the fluid next but I have a skid underneath and will be good until then :anonymous:
