First off let me say I searched for some of my answers and couldn't find exactly what I wanted. I have been researching Tacos and was planning on buying next summer. But I came across what looks to me to be a nice truck.

I found a 2007 Access cab 4x4 Off-Road package with only 17,000 miles on it. It also happens to be SWB which is my first choice of color. I haven't been to see the truck yet, because it is about 45 miles away, but from pictures it looks clean. It is also being sold as certified pre-owned. They have it marked for just under $24,000. Is this a fair price or, most likely, overpriced?
Are there any issues that are rampant in the 2007s that I should watch out for?

Thanks for in advance for all potential answers. I hope to get some feedback because I am going to see it tomorrow.

I would love to get it OTD for $20,000 or under? Possible? This is my first vehicle purchase that will be on my own so I have no idea.

$24k? That's almost what I paid for mine NEW... too rich for my blood. Granted you didn't list what options it has but I wouldn't be interested until $20k or less.

Any of the TSBs they should take care of before 30K miles I believe. If you get the extended warrenty (if it's from a toyota dealer) it should be covered up the 100K.
    I'm no expert though.

    Where you at in Kansas?

Looks like a true Off Road to me. Would have thought they would have listed the rear locker in the specs but maybe they were just being lazy I guess.

Most banks use NADA pricing instead of KBB.

It does not look like it has steering wheel controls for stereo- I thought the offroads come with that standard. My old '07 had them. Is this a US option package or has the steering wheel been changed?

Maybe related to the front end damage reported on the carfax?

People at the dealerships are such MORONS when they list stuff.

The TRD offroad trucks did not come with STEAL WHEELS (as listed). They came with alluminum wheels - I can see it in the picture.

I think the Steering wheel controls only came on the TRD Sport models. I have 'em.

Ask them if it has single or 6disc changer.
