    I am trying to maximize fuel economy and drive without a/c as much as possible but here in south Alabama that is hard to do. I know that cranking the dial all the way down keeps the compressor rocking, but at a higher temp does it cycle on and off and what is the optimal temp for a 90 + day. I also noticed that on auto the fan blows at a lower speed but is the compressor still running the whole time, thanks in advance.
