Exactly!, and most of us are fine with that. It's like an insurance for suspension.

While we're on this topic, what would you recommend for this scenario:

I got an Eibach PTL lift, and an AAL in the back. My use case is mostly to get through really bumpy but not technical terrain (like 1 ft water bars, some natural, some not) as fast as possible. I do not tow. Got max 200 lbs in the back and know to slow down when it gets iffy. In general, I want to get through those places as fast as possible because I am not going through there for fun. I've only bottomed out a few times, but yeah, it does not take an expert to know it's not good. I do know to slow down or turn around when it gets technical.

I have seen Duro mentioned several times, but any other recommendations? I think I have derived that I only need front.

Did your plates kind of bend when you torqued everything down as well??

I was amazed how much better it feels with wheelers bump stops. One of my favorite mods to the truck.

Question: Should I really be concerned with upgrading my front bumps? Any bottoming out -that I have noticed- was in the rear, and now that I have new leafs and suspension, I want to swap the rear oem bumpstops.

Do you really need to get the full front and rear kit?

I am going with Timbren either way, just debating rear or both.

The fronts get used the most. I highly recommend it.

Get wheelers superbumps. Much better price.

Interesting - I can see that. I might be able to snag a deal on the whole front/back kit so I'll go that route if so! Thanks for the suggestion dude.

Yeah the fronts get used on the street even. Wheelers superbumbs are a bit cheaper if looking to save a little.

I may be going this route. Interested to know if there's any discernible benefit in the rear bumps while towing...

If you tow heavy (especially for high tongue weight), my understanding is that sumo springs or air bags install in the location where the rear bump stops are.

Extremely beneficial when towing. Prevents squatting, night driving your headlights don't blind the planes...
