Hey TW, Jays won tonight and I'm pumped.

I just recently purchased a 2013 TRD DCLB.

    Mods are as follows:

    2.5 inch spacer up front
1 inch block w/ add-a-leaf in the rear
    285/70 R17 ProComp Extreme A/t
    17 Inch KMC XD Rockstars
    Fog light anytime mod
    Blacked out emblems

I like how it sits right now, however I like to go a bit higher.

Can I run a 3 inch spacer up front on stock UCA's ?
Is it alright if I purchase an All-Pro Expedition Leaf Springs 3inch lift for the rears ?

And lastly, would it be safe to run that setup with a 1.25 inch spacer all around for the wheels?

Coming from modding and building over 3 VW's, One of which was awarded several times over the course of its life with me, I'm all about looking good and actually getting use out of my mods.

Ant advice would be greatly appreciated.

And why's that ? I'm lifted, and actually use my lift for more than just cruising around and sitting in parking lots to look "cool".

I asked a few simple questions, don't need your bs.

The general consensus around here is that spacer lifts are garbage for anything other than mall crawling. That's probably why he laughed.

It is not advised to go above 2.5" up front on stock UCAs. You will have trouble getting the alignment right. That said, I'm sitting at about 2.75" up front on stock UCAs and my truck drives pretty nice, with the exception of some light shakiness in the steering wheel.

For wheel spacers, most people go with spidertrax, just be sure to get hub centric ones and instal/check them accordingly.

If you really plan to use your lift, though, I'd say look into a full OME 3" lift kit. It will be an improvement over the spacer/block setup when hitting the trails.

Up to you though, your truck! Got any pics?

Comparing your current lift to a fancy dinner, you have the equivalent to a McDonalds happy meal...with no toy.

If you have the pro comp spacer kit, it's actually a 2.75-1" block in the rear. like a "3/1" kit.

Get a lift that will help you out. Upgrade from your North Korea level lift up to a Mexico level set of 5100s and some coils. Certainly no USA level shit, but it will bring you out of the kiddie pool.

FWIW, skip the spacer kit setup. I ran one for two weeks and ended up disliking the hockey pucks altogether. I believe the primary reason was a result of my worn out shocks, which I should've had replaced with the spacer install. Soooo.... I purchased the Bilstein 5100's with some take off linear coils from a member on here. I also installed a one inch block in the back and have loved the setup since day one. My next upgrade is most likely gonna include some new packs that add around an inch or two of lift from a stock suspension. If you're wanting around three inches of lift, I'd personally spend my money on a better setup than the 5100's.
