So pretty knew here I have a 07 Tacoma access cab 4x4. I’ve owned it for about 10 years now and finally decided to do everything I’ve wanted to do to it rather than a car payment for a newer gen. So I want to put a 3 inch lift kit on it for sure. Upon inspection of my rear leaf springs, one of my leafs are broken so I will deff need a new leaf pack for the rear. My question is I’ve found some online, just wanna match the ride height with the front. If I get the leaf packs will I need shocks as well? Do they sell a kit with rear leaf springs and front coils? Any help would mean a lot!

    thanks!

There’s a ton of info in the forums that hold the answers to your questions. You can go cheap or expensive or middle ground. The higher you go the more stuff you need to upgrade usually.
I can only give you my experience on what I did to my 2nd gen access cab, which is probably the most common suspension lift. I wanted to stay under 3” to avoid new upper control arms. So I went with 5100s with old man emu 884 springs in the front, and 5100s with a new leaf pack in the rear. Gave me 2” all the way around. It’s a great upgrade and my truck is plenty capable offroad for what I need it to do. You need to give us more info on your budget and what you want your lift to accomplish

this is a daily driver and would not be going off road at all. As far as budget, don’t wanna. Real the bank just get mid level products on her.

thats exactly what I would want to do as well. Just enough to stuff some bigger rims and tires and not have to install UPA. What rear leaf pack did you go with?

    Make your life easy.

Call @memario1214 at hotshot offroad. Give him your goals, use case, budget targets and the dets on your truck (miles, etc)

He'll give you good guidance of products to choose from.

Are you 4wd? If yes, staying at 2-2.5 up front is much healthier for your hardware. 3" starts doing wear things you don't want to deal with.
