@shakerhood The "Build" pages actually only let you build what your area has in inventory. I'm in Gulf States Toyota and couldn't get an option that I thought was available. Plugged in the Zip in Michigan and viola! I could now use that option. I'm pretty sure it's restricted to your area's distributor.

No. It's a ~$600 option. The Tow Package actually comes with more than the receiver hitch and wiring. Per Toyota website: Class-IV towing hitch receiver,16 ATF cooler (not available on manual transmission), engine oil cooler, power steering cooler, 130-amp alternator, 4- and 7-pin connector with converter, and Trailer-Sway Control (TSC)27 (V6 only)

I always encourage people to insist on the package even if they don't tow. The coolers are worth it and maybe the alternator too.

Almost any vehicle with the tow package and automatic transmission will give you more than just the receiver.... usually the AT cooler at minimum. IMO, that is the most valuable one for someone who is going to put 200K on the odometer. Keeping a transmission cool, keeps it happy.

It only lets you build what exists on a dealer lot in your sales region, or is allocated to those dealers at that time.

Just to add a little to what was already mentioned. That Build feature is designed to put people in a dealership, not to see what's possible.
