questions about my spacer + new front bilstein shock lift

Today i started my lift "pita for me" no power tools and im not mechanicly inclined... so i only got the front left on in a couple hours... Anyways the questions. After getting my new front shock with spacer and original coil on there was NO ROOM WHAT SO EVER for me to put the sway bar link back on. Is that normal or did i do something wrong? the video i watched made it look easy. Also i tried to use my jack to compress the suspension enough to connect the sway bar not happenin. Next, the UCA was a mm' if not touching the bottom of the coil. Is this normal ? i knew it was going to be tight but not this tight. Im afraid to take it to get alighned and have them be like lol wtf? im going to begin hunting for larger uca's but i thought it would be better off then this most of yall havnt had bad problems so maybe i did something wrong? Good note. That one wheel on looks sick and the height difference is awesome with my 265's ill add pictures later!

 

disconnect both sides of the sway bar links, put the spacers on and button everything back up. Then put the sway bar links back on. Yes the a arm will contact the strut when its at full droop. When you set the truck down it will move away from the strut

 

If you still cant get the sway bar link on with the suspension at full droop set the truck down after everything else is bolted up then connect the links

I'm looking at it sitting under the truck now, the sway bar sits super close to the uca and still looks like a big distance from being able to connect but will try tomorrow

 

If its too far just drop it and then connect it

 

Its dropped, I'm going to grab the connector and see if it fits

 

No go :/ hmm. I was also looking at my coil and think if I spin it a little it will give me more play against my uca. Idk but thanks for helping with my q and a thread

When you start to lift to high the sway bar and uca or shocks will start to rub. They are 25 bucks and all it does is move your sway bar 1" forward. This web site is $37 but Ive seen them for $25

try finishing up the other side before you try to connect the links if not then drop the sway bar with those relocation brackets

 

I'm going to do the other side and see what happens. The sway bar things seem simple maybe home depot sells something similar? Haha

Yes they do! And p.s. they fit now that both sides are done haha. Tomorrow ill do the rear I haven't had time to do it at one sitting. What's the best way to Jack the rear end up? My jacks awful small and I need the rear axel hanging freely
