Questions about problems I see with a potential purchase

There's your answer. Save up a bit more and buy a NICE truck. Why buy someone elses problems? A repair shop that can't be bothered to fix something properly then try to pass it off as "that's just the way that it is"? Walk away from that truck and never look back. If you can't do that, at least take it to a reputable repair shop or stealership and pay for a pre-purchase inspection, so they can point out everything wrong with the truck.

 

That's exactly what I'm going to do - just keep socking money away & watching forums and such to find a better one. I appreciate the reality check y'all gave me!
