Recently purchased a 2012 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road. My First truck, second vehicle.

My Fuel door only opens 80% unless you give it a little more of pulling. I’ve noticed that its probably because of rust build up thats why it has a hard time turning. I was thinking of replacing the fuel door, where could I buy a new one thar is already painted and it comes with all the hardware needed? This apparently will be my first to many mods to come lol, Also, any recommendations for a bed cover? Which isnt too expensive?
really glad that i found this community online, thanks!

Before you go buy a whole new door have you tried WD40 and wiggling the door back and forth? Might work.

I can only think of a wrecking yard. Try car-part dot com. If rust is the issue, have you tried a penetrant?

I developed the same problem, Kroil solved it. A drop or two every time I change the oil has kept it moving freely. I keep a paper towel at the bottom of the hinge in case my 'drop or two' gets out of control.

Being in the rust belt I sprayed the inside of mine with a cosmoline product. Then the door became hard to open so I sprayed the hinge with a silicone product. It now opens and closes freely.
