All my searches come up with various info but mostly installations and tips etc. I can’t find any reviews or similar info I’m looking for.

I’m about to buy a set and install as they come (stage 1 I guess you’d call it) not adding the extra leaf

my only questions are how do these leafpacks ride in the configuration I mentioned above when the truck is empty?

I have eibach stage 2 installed and camper shell and need a little more sack in the leaf spring area of the taco

    So the ride….smooth, harsh, in-between ??

And how much rear lift have you guys been getting with this pack in its stage 1 co figuration.

sorry to bug you guys about it but I couldn’t find these answers, prob buried in the threads and I’m missing them.

I just put my mine on without the extra leaf(stage 1). I think the ride is great, I prefer it over stock, handles bigger hits way better. However, mine is comboed with 5100's on 885s coils on the front, and I got way more rear lift then I thought I would. Icon said around 1.8 for "stage 1" and I got over 2, giving me a pretty noticeable rake. I'm probably going to put taller coils on the front later. My truck is an AC so perhaps that netted me more lift.

    Thanks man!! Appreciate it.

Do your rear brake lines still have enough slack. (The soft lines)

I have enough, although I'm still on 5100's in the rear so I'm not getting the full flex from the leafs.

I’m on stage 1 (and Dobinsons IMS) with just a soft tonneau and it’s been great compared to stock.

You may want consider stage 2 with topper/ca/canopy. It's 200-300 lbs.

My topper caused a drop on the rear at 1/4” maybe a tik over that.

I have full sliders and skids on a DCLB and I went with option 2. Gave me 2” of lift in the rear for 24” center of hub to bottom of fender flare. Stock is 22” rear 21” front. I also have a softopper that is on most of the time and a small toolbox with some tools and gear so maybe 80 lbs total and it rides great with or without the extra weight.

Was on option 1 for a year or so. Been on stage 2 now for awhile with just a bed cover. Rides great and should have went this route to begin with.

Your leads will likely settle a bit after you put some miles on. Mine settled to what Icon advertised. Great leaf packs.

have a few ideas. Curious what y’all did.
    Thanks.

Was a PreRunner, now it isn't
for the parking brake cable, i just took the nut off the front spring clamp and put it there. I think i might have had to drill out the little bracket a bit. no issues. I paired my RXT's on stage 2 with FOX 2.0 DC's which allows me to better adjust for riding on stage 2 empty vs various loads/trailer. i can get it to ride about the same in many different combinations.

Option 2 on the RXT's on my 2nd gen... have a canopy and carry 200lbs of sand in the winter. I've read with weight some experience sagging pretty quick with option 1. Truck rides great (Icon Stage 8.) Made a bracket for the brake cable...

Have you measured from center of hub to flare? Curious how much lift you got with the shell.

It’s at 23.75”. 39” from the ground. Prior measurement was 36.25” from ground

I don’t know how much it will settle, but Emily driven it 15 miles since I put it on yesterday. No weight yet
