    Hey guys,

just a quick question… I moved into an apartment building for the 4 months of school that I have left in this year, and I got an underground parking spot. Just wondering if for the 4 months of me going in and out and my antenna hitting 4 or 5 plastic pipes in the roof will damage my antenna. I'd rather not cut it or get a new one if I don't have to, but I also don't want it to snap off.

    Thanks guys.

Your antenna will get scraped, but it will continue to do its job.
I got a rubber stubby antenna about 16 inches tall, as the antenna kept getting grabbed by the automated car wash's rubber strips.
No problem since, although I don't get radio coverage inside a covered parking garage.:)

long antennas can sometimes snap back if caught on something and crack your windshield among other things
