I have a Prinsu rack on my 3rd gen. I'm looking to mount a shovel/axe on either side using quick fists. I'm a little concerned that it may not be a secure method. Is that something to be concerned over or are they rock solid? I've never used quick fists so it may be a silly question, but I'd hate to find out the hard way.

I have a set waiting to be installed, they feel pretty solid.

The reason that the quick-fists are so obsequious in the off-road industry as a securement for shovels, axes and other tools is that they are so effective at fulfilling the function of securing like-sized implements. As long as you are correctly 'latching' the quick-fist it's very secure.
